Firearms Deer Season Winding Down

This is the final weekend of the firearms deer season. And it’s also the first deer season for new Monroe County Conservation Agent Haeley Eichler.

There is something hunters need to do after harvesting a deer.

You do need cell service to telecheck the deer. The firearms deer season wraps up on Tuesday. Over 135 thousand deer have been harvested as of Saturday morning.
