“Final Spike” Commemorates Merger Of Canadian Pacific, KC Southern

Canadian Pacific Kansas City CEO Keith Creel addresses attendees of a ceremony April 14th, 2023 commemorating the merger of the two railroads. Creel drove a platinum spike into a railroad tie to symbolically mark the merger at CPKC’s Knoche Yard in Kansas City, Mo., site of the company’s future U.S. Operations Center.
