MBCA Releases Final High School Basketball Polls
The final high school basketball polls for the 2019-20 season have been released by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. In Class 1, Cairo finished in seventh on the boys’ side, with Meadville 10th, while Community was tied for third, Norborne fifth, and Green City seventh in Class 1 girls. In Class 2, Milan finished in a tie for fourth on the boys side, with Van-Far receiving votes. Class 3 saw both Blair Oaks and Monroe City third in the boys poll, with Father Tolton fifth and Palmyra receiving votes, while Macon finished third in the girls poll, with Southern Boone sixth and Palmyra receiving votes. Helias finished in a four-way tie for the top spot in the Class 4 poll on the boys side, with Kirksville tenth. In Class 5, the Rock Bridge girls were voted into a four-way tie for first, with Jefferson City finishing sixth and the Rock Bridge boys ninth.
