Field Days Make Return To MU’s Bradford Research Center

University of Missouri Extension resumes their field day events Thursday with the annual pest management field day at the Bradford Research Center east of Columbia.  Weed specialist Doctor Kevin Bradley says new to this year’s field day will be an opportunity for farmers to bring plant samples for analysis.

MU researchers including plant pathologist Kaitlyn Bissonnette and entomologist Kevin Rice will present their latest findings.  For Bradley, that means a demonstration of alternate methods to managing weeds in the field.

Tours at the University of Missouri Extension Pest Management Field Day begin Thursday morning at 8:30.  The cost is $20 and includes lunch and refreshments.  Advance signup is available by calling the Bradford Research Center at 573-884-7945.
