The 59th Western Farm Show is underway at the American Royal Complex in Kansas City, Missouri. The show opened Friday with FFA Day, as chapters from across Kansas and Missouri attended leadership events and brought in donations to the food drive benefiting Harvesters Food Bank. Fort Scott FFA brought in over 400 items. Sophomore Sierra Wright explains why it was important to take part.

Sophomore Hunter Potter said he enjoyed the chance to see the over 500 vendors at the show, especially the machinery.

The Western Farm Show also runs Saturday from 9 to 5 and Sunday from 9 to 4.
