In recent years, Missouri has seen a sharp increase in drug overdoses. Many have been due to the introduction of the potent drug, fentanyl. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch says the Missouri House recently passed a bill targeting this deadly drug.
Fentanyl is considered to be up to 100 times more potent than morphine. Toalson Reisch says they have a specific goal related to passing this bill.
Toalson Reisch is confident the bill will pass the Senate and head to the governor’s desk.
