FAYETTE’S WISEMAN TALKS START OF SUPERINTENDENCY

Fayette Superintendent Jill Wiseman nears the middle of her first year in the role. Wiseman says the transition has been smooth after Dr. Tamara Kimball’s retirement.
Fayette restructured administrative positions when Kimball retired. Wiseman is now the superintendent/curriculum director, and Middle School Principal Brent Doolin expanded his responsibilities to assistant superintendent/middle school principal.
Wiseman recaps staff reports from the latest Fayette School Board meeting.
Wiseman says Doolin reported on goal setting ahead of student led parent-teacher conferences. The Fayette School Board also reviewed assessment data for English language arts and math. Fayette landed above state average in nine of the 14 areas tested.
