FAYETTE’S NEAR 400 YARDS OF RUSHING GIVES THEM HOMECOMING VICTORY
A robust running attack by the Fayette Falcons propelled them to a 45-6 homecoming victory over Harrisburg Friday night. The Bulldogs moved the ball on the opening drive before it stalled with an interception from senior Dawson Wiswall. The Falcons took a 16-6 lead entering into the second quarter, and then Wiswall pitched in offensively.
Scott Lunte with the call on Superstation KRES of the 32 yard run. The senior would add a three yard score in the third quarter to help seal 4-3 Fayette their seventh straight win against Harriers. Falcon coach Mike Thompson said the game plan got easier deeper into the game.
In addition to an unofficial 118 yards from Wiswall, freshman D.J. Moore rushed for 103 yards and a score enroute to nearly 400 yards of rushing offense for Fayette. Thompson alo liked the way his defense held a high powered Harrisburg offense to six points.

Harrisburg’s five game winning streak has been snapped and they now drop to 5-2. They will host Scotland County next week. Fayette travels to Salisbury.
