Fayette Seniors Represent Falcons on KRES All-Star Team

For the past three seasons, Ben Wells and Chase Allen-Jackman helped power the Fayette Falcons’ offense. Both players closed out their high school football careers as members of this year’s KRES All-Star Football Team. Receiver Chase Allen-Jackman says it’s rewarding to receive such an accolade in his senior season.

Allen-Jackman had 75 catches for 1,060 yards and twelve touchdowns as he was named the Lewis & Clark Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Those totals covered a significant portion of Wells’ nearly 1,500 yards on the season. Wells said he and Allen-Jackman developed great chemistry at Fayette.

Wells was named to the KRES All-Star Team as a defensive back where he had 45 tackles and three interceptions on the way to garnering Lewis & Clark 1st Team honors. Wells said he enjoyed the defensive side of the ball just as much.

The combo of Wells and Allen-Jackman helped lift the Falcons to a district title in 2021. The Falcons finished with a record of 6-5 this season following a loss in the district semifinals. Allen-Jackman provided some advice for future Falcon football players.
