Fayette Juneteenth Celebration Now Four Days

The Juneteenth in Fayette celebration, now in its 22nd year, is expanding to four days. Organizer Tim Jackman says this year’s theme is “A Celebration of Community”.

Things start Thursday night at Paige-Liberty Park with a free hot dog roast, youth ball game and bounce house. A Gospel Fest will take place Friday night.

Saturday will be a full day, including several activities for kids.

The Juneteenth in Fayette celebration concludes Sunday morning with a community worship service on the courthouse lawn at 10am.
