Farmers Encouraged To Use Biodiesel To Help Fellow Growers

With farmers gearing up to plant their fields, biofuel backers are hoping that producers’ tractors are filled up with biodiesel blends.  Matt Amick, director of biofuels and new uses with Missouri Soybeans, says farmers can use the product just like non-blended diesel.

Amick says the Biodiesel Coalition of Missouri offers testing to ensure storage tank integrity and fuel quality remain good.

The Biodiesel Coalition of Missouri maintains a map of retailers and distributors who sell biodiesel blends up to 20 percent.
