Farm Bureau Awards Kruse Scholarship To Paris Senior
Paris senior Carlee Long has picked up another scholarship to further her studies this fall. Long was named the recipient of Missouri Farm Bureau’s Charles E Kruse Agricultural Scholarship totaling $1000. She’s set to major in agribusiness management this fall at the University of Missouri, following graduation from Paris High School and receiving her associate’s degree from Moberly Area Community College through a dual credit program. During her high school career, Long served as her FFA chapter and area president, ambassador for Missouri Beef and Missouri Pork, as well as captain of the girls’ basketball team and football cheerleading squad.
Last month Long was named the recipient of two other scholarships, the Youth in Agriculture Platinum Scholarship from the Missouri State Fair Foundation, and one of seven Missouri Corn scholarship recipients.
