Extreme Heat Saturday Afternoon; A Bit Cooler on Sunday

Saturday afternoon will mark the return of extremely hot weather to north and central Missouri. Chris Bowman is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill.
A bit cooler weather is expected to arrive Sunday.
Thunderstorms also can’t be ruled out tomorrow Sunday.
We won’t be setting a record high Saturday, as that mark is 107 set in 1954.
