The Linn County Fairgrounds in Brookfield will be the site of a unique event on May 29th as the Double S Bull Company will be bringing their Extreme Bull Riding Tour to the fairgrounds. Chairman of the Linn County Fair Board Keenan Switzer explains how they were able to secure this event in Brookfield.

The event will be the first of 40 for the 2021 Extreme Bull Riding Tour. It will also be the only event they will hold in Missouri for the season. Gates for the May 29th event will open at 5:30pm. Mutton Bustin will get the festivities started at 6pm. Bull rides will then start at 7pm with the junior bull riders. Switzer says the junior bull rides will have a local feel.

The professional riders will take center stage after that. Approximately 36 riders are expected to take part in that event. Switzer says after the bull riding is done, there will be plenty more fun to be had on the Linn County Fairgrounds.

Proceeds will go to the Linn County Fair Board. Tickets are $15 at the gate. Advance tickets are $10 at Quinn Lumber, Professional Land and Title, and the Brookfield Vet Clinic. We will also give away five pairs of tickets Tuesday on KRES.
