Experienced Hallsville Softball Team Seeks Deep Playoff Run in 2021

The Hallsville Lady Indians’ softball team returns a wealth of experience from a team that went 18-4 last season. However, that season had a rough ending as Hallsville was knocked out in the first round of the district tournament by Boonville. Hallsville coach Ryan Crane says that loss has served as motivation for this season.

Despite only having three seniors on their roster, Crane says they return a group of players with a wealth of experience.

Crane adds those returning pitchers, Abby Leer and Edie Cobb, look even better as sophomores this season.

Hallsville will be seeking their first district championship since 2009. They open their season Saturday by hosting the Hallsville Invitational Tournament.
