Hospice of Northeast Missouri Grief Support Group

Hospice of Northeast Missouri is offering a six-week grief support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. Topics include understanding the grief process, personal loss history and its impact on the grief process, distinguishing between grief and mourning, and dealing with insensitive people. Two sessions will be offered. The first session will be from 12:30 to 1:30 pm and the second will be from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Each session will be held on Mondays beginning on September 18th. They will be held at the Hospice of Northeast Missouri office in Kirksville. There is no charge but advanced registration is required. To register call Carrol Davenport at 660-627-9711.
