EquipmentShare Hosts Open House in Moberly
Columbia-based EquipmentShare held a ribbon-cutting and open house at its new location in Moberly Tuesday. The Industrial and Upfitting Center is the company’s seventh location in Missouri. EquipmentShare CEO Jabbok Schlacks praised the available workforce.
Brian Adams is the Vice President of Embedded Systems, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, and site manager for the new location. He says it will manufacture parts and attachments for the company’s equipment.
Amy Susan is the company’s communications manager. She says the company already has about 40 people at the site, with more coming after new manufacturing equipment is in place.
Randy Asbury is the President of the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation. He says the effort to bring EquipmentShare to Moberly goes back to early last year.
EquipmentShare started with five people in 2015, and now employs more that 48-hundred nationwide. It is investing 46 million dollars into the former Dura Automotive site, and when fully operational, will employ about 150 people, with an average salary of 46 thousand dollars.
