Eight Tracks Of Topics At Missouri Livestock Symposium

More than 30 speakers await producers at this weekend’s Missouri Livestock Symposium in Kirksville.  Zac Erwin, vice chairman of the organizing committee, says the symposium at William Matthew Middle School will again feature several presentations Saturday focusing on specific aspects of the farm.

Erwin reminds attendees that the symposium, along with the meals, are free.

The Missouri Livestock Symposium will also feature Frank Mitloehner, animal sciences professor and air quality specialist from the University of California at Davis, as keynote speaker of the Friday evening program.  The symposium runs Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  A complete schedule is available on the symposium’s website.
