Education Voucher Bill to be Heard

A bill being heard Tuesday in the House Elementary and Secondary Education Committee could give parents additional options for their child’s education. Representative Chuck Basye, who is chair of the committee, explains what this proposed education voucher would do.

Basye believes there will be a lot of opposition to the bill.

A similar bill was filed last year, but failed to get pushed out by any committees.
