The Chair of the Senate Education Committee has filed a bill dealing with schools that traditionally struggle. Senator Cindy O’Laughlin explains what this will do.
O’Laughlin says she has visited some of the lowest performing schools.
O’Laughlin has also filed a bill that says total compensation for school superintendents could not exceed 3.5 times the average total compensation provided to all certified, full-time teachers employed by the district.
