Dove Season Begins Wednesday

Dove season begins Wednesday. Chariton County Conservation Agent Chris Chesher says this is one of the official kickoffs to the fall hunting season.

Chesher offers some locations where you could hunt for doves.

Those planning to hunt doves will need to have their hunting license and a migratory bird permit. Dove season runs from September 1st to November 29th.
