During her lifetime, Donna provided a loving home for her three children. She worked at various occupations and only recently retired while living in Herman, MO. She had a pleasant personality and always had a smile a friendly word for all.

Donna found enjoyment in her work and cooking, baking, reading, music, the outdoors, flowers, music, and especially visiting with family and friends. Her son Danny recalls his mother was a great cook and often baked cookies for the neighborhood kids and left cookies in the mailbox to surprise the mail carrier.

Donna was a hard worker who liked sharing her experiences and wisdom with others. While working, Donna arranged to have Gertrude Brown Dury babysit Danny as she knew Danny enjoyed Gertrude’s hospitality and his boyhood play time with Gertrude’s kids, especially his good friend, Vernon Dury, whose friendship he treasures to this day.

Memorial donations are appreciated. Danny is asking that you honor his mother by directing your monetary donations to Bibb Veach Funeral Home in memory of Donna Sundhausen. This will help with various expenses. At present, there are no definite arrangements.
