DNR APPROVES PERMIT FOR MOBERLY FACILITY

Moberly Utilities Director Mary West-Calcagno has announced that following years of work, a new permit has been issued for the wastewater plant.
The city initially applied for renewal of the permit in 2010 from the DNR.
Under the old permit, the city monitored the combined sewer overflows every time it rained.
The new permit takes effect November 1st and will last for five years.
