District-Leading Moberly Hosts Marshall For Homecoming

Marshall visits Moberly for the homecoming game Friday at Dr. Larry K. Noel-Spartan Stadium. Moberly leads the Class 3, District 5 standings by seven points over the next closest team in Boonville. Spartans coach Cody McDowell says that played into the decision to score a late touchdown at Fulton last week to win 28-14….

Moberly is 1-1 in the NCMC and 3-2 overall. Marshall is winless. Coach McDowell says the Owls are better than their record….

Despite the winless record, Marshall coach Ian Verts has seen improvement throughout the season.
