The Jefferson City Catholic Diocese has announced that Doug Callahan has been fired as president of Father Tolton High School, effective Thursday. Callahan was named president in September after more than three decades with the Boy Scouts of America. Jill McIntosh, Tolton’s vice president, will handle his duties on an interim basis. Bishop Shawn McKnight said in a news release “It will be a priority for me, the superintendent of Catholic schools and the leadership of our parishes in Columbia to ensure the right team is in place for Father Tolton Catholic High School to thrive.” Parents with questions may email [email protected]. Father Tolton has about 250 students in grades 9-12.
