DESE Unveils Updated Five-Year Plan for Ag Education

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has released their updated five-year plan for agriculture education in the state.  Ag education director Keith Deitzschold says the plan succeeds a long-range plan first implemented two decades ago.

The plan identifies four priorities: “Comprehensive Reach of Agricultural Education Programs”, “Quality Curriculum and Resources”, “Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Literacy”, and “Quality Instructors and Instruction”.  Deitzschold explains how DESE will measure the plan’s progress.
