The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education identified four priorities for agriculture education in a five-year strategic plan released last week. Ag education director Keith Dietzschold says some of the priorities reflect challenges the ag industry has faced for decades.
The five-year plan succeeds the previous plan drafted over two decades ago. Dietzschold explains what he anticipates happening when the plan is up for review during the 2028-29 school year.
The five-year strategic plan is available on the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education website.
