Davenport Sisters on Opposite Sidelines When Truman Hosts Avila

The Davenport sisters will be on opposite sidelines when the Truman State women welcome Avila to Pershing Arena Friday evening. Remy Davenport transferred from Omaha to play for the Bulldogs a couple years ago and with her younger sister, Tiffany. Last season, Remy was on the Truman coaching staff, and now she will coach against her sister as an assistant for Avila.

The NAIA-level Eagles are off to a 3-0 start, while the Bulldogs will try to rebound from their first loss of the season to Augustana last Saturday. Truman coach Theo Dean is looking for more defensive intensity.
