Cupp Faces More Charges
A Marceline man who already faced 43 different counts of first degree sexual offenses had additional charges filed against him Thursday. 54-year-old Roger Cupp was charged with 12 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of child molestation, seven counts of statutory sodomy, and six counts of child pornography. He’s held in the Macon County Jail on 100 thousand dollars bond. The additional charges come following an investigation by the State Highway Patrol’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit, In August, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office requested the State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control to assist with an investigation. He was then charged with eleven counts of child molestation, twelve counts of statutory rape, nineteen counts of statutory sodomy, and one count of attempted statutory rape.
