Jefferson City announced this morning that it has hired Moberly City Administrator Brian Crane to take the same job with that city. He will start there next month. He replaces Steve Crowell, who resigned in April. The city of Moberly announced his resignation will be effective September 15th, after eight years in that role. Mayor Tim Brubaker expressed appreciation for Crane, saying “We extend our heartfelt thanks to Brian for his tireless dedication to Moberly. His vision, passion, and commitment have been invaluable to our city’s progress, and he will be deeply missed.” Moberly will initiate a comprehensive search for his successor.
