The Cooper County Public Health Center in Boonville has reported a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Cooper County. According to a release from the center, a patron of Isle of Capri casino tested positive for the virus. The patron had visited the casino on March 17th from 9-11am, and lives outside of the county. The Cooper County Public Health Center is currently working with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, public health partners, and county officials regarding this incident. The center also asks that anyone who was also visiting the casino during those hours, or employees working those hours, take the appropriate measures to help prevent the spread of the virus depending upon their symptoms.
