Corn Silage Workshop Set For August 11th

University of Missouri Extension will host an online workshop Tuesday, August 11th highlighting the use of corn silage for livestock feed. Livestock specialist Patrick Davis will be one of the two presenters and explains some of the nutritional differences between silage and harvested corn.
Davis adds that silage could still be an option for this season, but the time may be now to act.
MU Extension livestock specialist Patrick Davis will present on how corn silage can be utilized in beef cattle rations, while cattle nutrition specialist Eric Bailey will present on how to harvest quality corn silage. The workshop takes place August 11th at 7 p.m. on the Zoom video conference platform. Registration and additional details are available on Extension’s website.
