The Cooper County Fair will begin Tuesday and run through Saturday in Boonville. This year’s fair features a variety of events including a queen contest, baby show, livestock shows, live concerts, and truck and tractor pulls. Past Cooper County Fair President Pat Campbell says the royalty shows Tuesday night will be one of their more popular nights.

Gate entry for the Cooper County Fair is free through Thursday night. Concerts at this year’s Cooper County Fair include Russell Gerling Tuesday night and performances by Skinny Wallets and the Madd Hoss Jackson Band Saturday night. Campbell says they’re excited for Saturday nights’ performances.

Skinny Wallets will open at 7:30 pm and the Madd Hoss Jackson Band will take the stage at 9 that night. Various 4-H and FFA livestock shows will take place throughout the fair. Campbell says those shows are her favorite part of the fair.

There will be no carnival rides at this year’s Cooper County Fair. However, organizers are planning to have bounce houses and games to keep kids entertained each night. For more information on this year’s fair visit coopercountyfair.org.
