Cooksey To Become Chair of the Association of Community Colleges

For the first time ever, Missouri is set to have someone serve as chairman of the Association of Community Colleges. Judge Jim Cooksey, who is President of the MACC Board, is currently vice chair and in two years, will lead the national organization.
Cooksey says a point of emphasis nationally is a short term Pell Grant. This all ties into workforce development.
