Marian could not find, shredded provolone, but found a combo of shredded provolone and mozzarella and it worked fine

Chicken Quarters on the grill (Boyers)

soak chicken quarters in water with kosher salt at least an hour
boil the chicken quarters for 15-20 minutes
on the grill, cook each side of the chicken 8-10 minutes on medium to high heat (my grill 400)
flip and baste a side with barbeque sauce and grill on low to medium heat 8-10 minutes (my grill 300)
flip and baste the other side with barbeque sauce and grill on low to medium heat 8-10 minutes or until done (175 degree thermometer)

Homemade Ice Cream (Vanilla) (Boyers)

2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. whipping cream
2 T vanilla

Scald the milk. Add the sugar and salt and stir until both have dissolved. Add cream and vanilla. Put in freezer and chill before placing in ice cream maker.
To add fruit, add 2 cups of sweetened blended fresh fruit.

Dressing

2 c. Miracle Whip
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 can Eagle brand milk

Mix it all together. Makes quite a bit. Can use on a variety of salads and can keep in refrigerator for months.

Mike’s Apple Brownies

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda
1 T hot water
1 c flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
3 apples, pealed and diced
1/2 c. walnuts
6-12 oz. bag chocolate chips

Mix all the ingredients with an electric mixer except apples, nuts, and chocolate chips. Fold in the apples and nuts. Pour into a greased 8 by 8 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes and let cool.
