BAKING SODA IN MEATLOAF, USED 1/4 tsp. BAKING SODA

“Potato Salad”

4-6 potatoes, boil them and with a dozen eggs to hard boil. After the potatoes are soft, pull off and strain it. Peal the eggs. Place the potatoes in a pot and add 1 to 1 1/2 c. of mayonnaise. Put in one large sliced cucumbers (peel cucumber-pull all the seeds and moisture out of the cucumber) slice in small chunks and throw in mixture. 1 or 2 chopped jalapenos and 1 lb. cooked bacon. Mix all together except the eggs. Place eggs back in and give a light toss. You can add onion.

“Deviled Eggs”

Prepare hard-boiled eggs
dash of mustard
(add these ingredients according to taste)
salt and pepper
sugar
vinegar
mayonnaise
my wife adds a little pickle relish

Fill eggs. Top with paprika.

“Spaghetti Casserole”

1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
aged cheddar cheese
Cook until brown and drain. Add 1/2 tsp. chili powder and a pinch of salt. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the mixture. Cook spaghetti as needed and add to meat mixture. Add: 2-8 oz. cans tomato sauce. Cook 20 minutes. Place in casserole dish and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
