Monroe City School Construction Includes Sports Storage Shed

Work continues on the construction of a new elementary school wing in the Monroe City School District. A variety of other additions are being planned with work expected to take place in the coming weeks and months. Monroe City Superintendent Tony DeGrave says one of those additions is a sports storage shed.
The storage shed will be located next to the football field. DeGrave says this will provide a central location for storage.
Other construction projects to be conducted in the coming months in the Monroe City School District include a new parking lot addition for the high school and a new playground for the elementary students. Those projects are expected to be completed by the start of the 2021-22 school year.
