Consolidation May be Discussed During Upcoming Session

Several education issues are likely to be discussed during the upcoming legislative session, including charter school expansion, vouchers, and school consolidation. Dr. Mark Penny is the Superintendent of the Lincoln County R-3 District, and the President of the Missouri Association of School Administrators.

Several of these issues have been discussed during recent sessions.

And Penny has some concerns about open enrollment.

Penny says the bottom line is local control.

Prefiling of bills for the upcoming legislative session begins in December.
