Conservation Practices A Family Tradition At Britt Farms

Practices conserving resources and preserving their land for the next generation have been regularly observed at Britt Farms, winners of the 2022 Aldo Leopold Conservation Award for Missouri. Ryan Britt is the fifth generation of his family to farm outside Clifton Hill.

Ryan Britt is a former president of the Missouri Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. As this year’s recipient of the Leopold Conservation Award, Britt Farms won a $10,000 cash prize and commemorative crystal award.
