CONGRESSMAN LUETKEMEYER HOPES TO AVOID GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

While lawmakers and the administration would like to avoid it, Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer says with the continuing resolution that is allowing the federal government to operate ending later this month, a shutdown remains a possibility before the end of the year.
The Republican lawmaker says there may be some movement in the Senate.
Overall, Luetkemeyer says Democrats and Republicans can’t agree on much at all.
