The Randolph County Commission discussed 911 funding with the Randolph County Ambulance District Board, during the board’s meeting earlier this week. Presiding commissioner John Truesdell says the conversation centered on a shortfall in revenue from a measure voters approved.

All 911 calls in Randolph County go to the dispatch center at the Moberly Police Department, and if it’s a call for the ambulance district or rural fire, they are then transferred to the ambulance district for those services to be dispatched.

Moberly Mayor Jerry Jeffrey was also at this past Tuesday’s meeting. Moberly officials are also expected to address the ambulance district board next Tuesday.
