Columbia Teen Killed by Gunfire

A Columbia teen is dead following a shooting early Sunday morning. The Columbia Police Department says officers responded to the 300 block of West Brookside Lane around 1. There they found 17-year-old Bryant R. Wilks the Second, and he died before he could be taken to the hospital. Officers also found evidence of property damage caused by gunfire to structures and vehicles, but no other injuries were reported.
