Columbia Police Investigate Burglary On Grindstone Plaza Drive

The Columbia Police are investigating a burglary at a residence in the 1400 block of Grindstone Plaza Drive in Columbia. Police responded to the residence, after receiving reports of a break-in around 10:50 on Tuesday night. Officers arrived and found a female victim who said she opened the door and was expecting a friend to arrive. Two men wearing ski masks in all black clothing forced their way into her apartment and started breaking items while the victim barricaded herself in a bedroom and called 911. Both male suspects are described as 6 foot and one man was white or possibly Hispanic and the other was described as a black male with a similar build.
