Columbia Man Hurt in Accident on Highway 63

One person was injured in an accident on southbound 63 just past Highway 124 in Boone County around 5:40 Thursday morning. The State Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Lindsey Baney of Hallsville pulled her SUV into the path of a car driven by 49-year-old Dean Jones of Columbia. The car struck the SUV in the rear, forcing the SUV off the road where it overturned. The car also went off the road. Jones had moderate injuries and was taken to Columbia. Baney was not injured.
