Columbia Man Dead After Overnight Shooting

A Columbia man is dead following a shooting in the 43-hundred block of Santa Barbara Drive early Friday morning. The Boone County Sherriff’s Department says deputies were called to the scene around 12:45 and found damage to a home, and then learned 19-year-old Dennis Darks was sitting in a vehicle and had been shot.
