Columbia Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

A Columbia man has been arrested on multiple child pornography charges. The Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber Crimes Task Force received a CyberTip from Google earlier today (Wed) reporting child pornography on a person’s device at the Welcome Inn on North Providence Road. Task Force Investigators served a search warrant and located child pornography files on the suspect’s cell phone. They arrested 29-year old Adam Boaz of Columbia for two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of failure to register as a sex offender. Boaz is currently being held in the Boone County Jail.
