Coates Street Presbyterian Church Homecoming Service Celebrates 130 Years of Community

This past October, the Coates Street Presbyterian Church in Moberly hung a new steeple after it was struck by lightning in 2019. The church will hold a special service Sunday to honor 130 years of existence in the community. J.W. Ballinger recalled the event of the miraculous lightning strike on “History on the Radio” on KWIX on Wednesday.

Ballinger talked about what occurred in the years following the incident.
