City of Mexico Switching Health Care

City of Mexico employees will have a new health insurance provider for next year. Mexico City Manager Bruce Slagle says the city last sought out a three-year proposal in 2021, for 2022 and 2023, and would have renewed with United Health Care for 2024 had the rates been favorable.

The switch to Aetna will only cost the city about one percent more.

Slagle says employees will have similar coverage to what they have now.
