Chris Sander Excited to be Westran AD

Westran boys basketball and softball coach Chris Sander will be the school’s next athletic director.

Current AD Aaron O’Laughlin is leaving to be the K-12 principal in the Marion County School District. Sander will stay in charge of boys basketball but let go of softball.

Sander is happy to feel like he’s leaving the program in a good place.

Sander will also take over as assistant principal.

Sander has experience as an umpire and referee and thinks those connections will help him as well.
