Chastain Named Permanent Superintendent at Mexico

The Mexico School Board Tuesday voted unanimously to make Melissa Chastain the permanent superintendent. She had been serving in an interim role since May. Chastain has been with the district 17 years as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent.
